Very good food. I read the previews reviews and was concerned but decided to try it anyway. I’m so glad I did. The lamb meatballs are wonderful, the handmade pasta is delicious, and the dessert was yummy. I think most items are pre-made but it didn’t take away from the flavor and actually made service quicker and enjoyable. Staff were very attentive and amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant, the price is great for the quality & portion.

I recently dined at La Dotta Pasta Bar in Thong Lo, drawn in by its recommendations. While the ambiance and attentive staff created a pleasant dining environment, the culinary experience left much to be desired. To begin, I tried the Mini Pizza Fritta, a Naples-style deep-fried mini pizza with fresh tomato sauce, Parmigiano Reggiano, and basil oil. Unfortunately, it fell short on flavor I felt. For the main course, I opted for the Pappardelle with 12-hours slow-cooked oxtail ragù, black raisin, and Pecorino Romano. While the dish had potential, the minuscule portion size left me unsatisfied. Dessert, a Fresh Ricotta cheese tart with roasted grapes, failed to captivate my taste buds, coming across as rather dull and uninspiring. Considering the lackluster experience and the modest portions, the 600 baht price tag for lunch felt disproportionately high. La Dotta Pasta Bar may have a Michelin recommendation, but my visit left me questioning the hype surrounding this establishment.

Food was decent. Ordered the pesto pasta and Tortelloni. Pasta was Al dente and texture was nice. But just seemed to lack a little more flavor. Can’t seem to pinpoint what it is. Burrata salad was nice and fresh. Waiters were attentive to our needs and spoke English well. Will be back to try other dishes. The other dishes looked good on the table next to us. Not friendly for wheelchair users as the dining area is on the second floor.

Very good place for fresh made pasta and sauces. I’ll be going back there again to try more of their dishes.

I came here with high expectations but it was quite underwhelming to be honest. I ordered the pesto pasta and while I liked the pesto sauce, the pasta was undercooked and didn't taste great. For dessert I ordered the Bombolone with tiramisu stuffing. It was too doughy and I have had better bombolones for much lesser. It was totally disappointing when compared to the expectations.

There are few things in life more satisfying than a well-crafted plate of handmade pasta. And when it comes to finding the best pasta in all of Thailand, Michelin Guide has spoken: look no further than La Dotta in Bangkok. Having been tipped off by the esteemed guide, I eagerly made my way to this charming eatery in the heart of the city, and I must say, I was not disappointed. From the moment you step into La Dotta, you are greeted by an elegant, cozy atmosphere with an unmistakable Italian flair. The attentive staff and the open kitchen where you can see the chefs working their magic on the pasta dough create an inviting ambiance that sets the stage for a remarkable culinary experience. The pièce de résistance of La Dotta is undoubtedly their pasta. Their handcrafted pappardelle ragu is a delight to the senses. The pasta itself is tender and fresh, while the ragu sauce, made from slow-cooked meat, is rich, flavorful, and the epitome of comfort food. This dish truly encapsulates the essence of Italian cuisine. The eggplant parmesan, a classic Italian favorite, was another standout on the menu. Layered with gooey cheese, tender eggplant, and a tangy tomato sauce, it was a delectable and filling accompaniment to the pasta dishes. The tagliatelle with wagyu short rib, yet another handmade pasta triumph, was an indulgent and luxurious dish. The delicate, silky tagliatelle noodles were a perfect match for the tender, flavorful wagyu beef. To finish off this exquisite meal, we treated ourselves to their Italian donut Nutella dessert. This heavenly concoction of light, fluffy donuts filled with creamy Nutella was a fitting end to a wonderful dining experience. La Dotta has undoubtedly earned its title as the home of the best pasta in Thailand, and it's not just the Michelin Guide that thinks so. My own experience stands testament to the exceptional quality of their handmade pasta, as well as their warm hospitality and inviting atmosphere. If you find yourself in Bangkok, do not miss the opportunity to dine at La Dotta and savor their incredible pasta creations.

A small pasta restaurant with some parking spaces in front of the place (2-3 cars). A little pricey but the dishes were great! Pasta had good texture. Crispy guanciale is a full score for me. The tiramisu was very nice. Crispy lady fingers and soft cream. The staffs were very friendly and attentive. The place was a little loud when I ate there because it was small. But overall it was a nice experience.

I rarely eat western food in general and it might not be my best position to rate it but I love the food, the atmosphere. What I love about the place is that simplistic yet delicious food. Fresh pasta would be my go to for this place.
